Flowers: Les Quatre Saisons is heading to Switch on November 28 in Japan

This week's issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine has revealed that visual novel collection Flowers: Les Quatre Saisons previously released for PlayStation 4 on March 7, 2019, is heading to Nintendo Swicth on November 28, 2019 in Japan. It will cost 7,800 Yen, and will feature touch screen, one-handed controls, high-definition visuals, high-quality sound, and various refinements. (Thanks, Ryokutya2089)

Flowers: Les Quatre Saisons is a collection that includes four Flowers games, Flowers: Le Volume sur Printemps, Flowers: Le Volume sur Ete, Flowers: Le Volume sur Automne, and Flowers: Le Volume sur Hiver.

Persona 5 Royal First Gameplay livestream set for August 2

Atlus has announced recently, a livestream for Persona 5 Royal. It will be broadcast live on August 2, at 20:00 JST on YouTube.

The livestream will feature Persona 5 Royal producer Kazuhisa Wada, Chiaki Matsuzawa as MC and Mafia Kajita as a guest. It will also feature the latest information on Persona 5 Royal, alongside the first live gameplay.

Persona 5 Royal, alternatively known as P5R and Persona 5: The Royal in Japan, is an enhanced port of Persona 5 to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The game was initially teased by Atlus on December 30th, 2018. It was unveiled after the Persona 5 The Animation OVA, Dark Sun..., was finished airing. Persona 5 Royal, will be released in Japan on October 31, 2019 and worldwide in 2020.

Splatoon 3 is not in development yet, according to Series Producer

Splatoon 2 like its predecessor, is a fantastic shooter game with a fun, silly, and colorful visual designstages and characters, not to mention the music and soundtrack that are very silly and catchy.

In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu 
(thanks to Japanese Nintendo, and Ryokutya2089) Splatoon series director Hisashi Nogami has talked about what’s coming up for Splatoon 2 and the series in general after Version. 5.0. While feature additions, new weapons and stages, and the monthly Splatfests are all over, game balancing in general will still continue, alongside the Monthly League Battles.

Nogami also stated that Splatoon 2 development started right after the first game was released, after that there was the development of Octo Expansion and various other updates, so the development team hasn’t thought aboua new entry. However, Nogami did say that the team would like to return the favour to many people who have supported the series.

Romance Visual Novel Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation Gets New Screenshots introducing Miku Izayoi

Idea Factory International has shared a new batch of screenshots for the upcoming Romance Visual Novel Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation introducing character Miku Izayoi also known as Diva.

Here's a little description about Miku Izayoi:

A Spirit who possesses an enchanting voice that is not of this world. One theory is that she chose to inhabit the human world in order to accumulate knowledge about life’s basics, but the truth behind her actions is still unknown. The angel she manifests is Gabriel

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation is actually a collection that includes three visual novels: Date A Live: Rinne Utopia, Date A Live: Arusu Install, and Date A Live Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation launches for PlayStation 4 on July 23 in North America and July 26 in Europe. The PC version will launch worldwide via Steam on July 23.

Hardcore Mecha for PlayStation 4 releases June 27 in Japan

Japanese publisher Arc System Works have announced, that the high-quality mecha-themed 2D action game Hardcore Mecha previously known as Code (HARDCORE), will release for PlayStation 4 on June 27 in Japan for 2,000 Yen. The game is currently available for pre-orders at the Japanese PlayStation Store.

Additionally, people who will be present at the BitSummit 7 Spirits event this June 1 to 2, at the Kyoto International Exhibition Hall Miyako Messe, the game will be playable at the PlayStation booth.

Enchanted in the Moonlight releases for Nintendo Switch on June 13

Japanese developer Voltage announced recently, that romance visual novels Enchanted in the Moonlight: Miyabi, Kyoga, & Samon and Enchanted in the Moonlight: Kiryu, Chikage, & Yukinojo will release for Nintendo Siwitch via the Switch eShop on June 13. The games will support Japanese and English languages, and will be digital only.

Atelier Ryza first screenshots, artwork, and gameplay footage

Koei Tecmo and Gust have opened the official Japanese site for the recently announced Atelier Ryza: The Queen of Eternal Darkness and Secret Hideout, revealing new screenshots, and artwork of protagonist Reisaline Stout, alongside a short video showcasing the game’s world.

Atelier Ryza: The Queen of Everlasting Darkness and the Secret Hideaway launches for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime this fall in Japan.

2D fighting game The Fallen Angels to get a complete version for arcades and consoles

During the 10th anniversary event for Takadanobaba Game Center Mikado in Japan, developer Zerodiv has revealed (via Satoshi68k) they're partnering with exA-Arcadia, a company who brings back older games to the arcades, to complete and relaunch the unfinished 1998 2D versus fighting arcade game The Fallen Angels. It will be released for both arcades and consoles, with the arcade version coming first. 

Here's an overview of the game:

The Fallen Angels known in Japan as Daraku Tenshi is an unfinished 2D fighting game developed by Steel Hearts and published by Psikyo for arcades in 1998. The game is unique for its grim art style and less projectile-based fighting system (compared to other 2D fighting games at the time). It is also known for its influences in SNK's The King of Fighters series.

The game's plot takes place in near-future 2010, a decade after an earthquake separated an inhabited city from the rest of the world, leaving it to decay.

Square Enix announces Star Ocean: First Departure R for PlayStation 4 and Switch

Square Enix has announced Star Ocean: First Departure R for PlayStation 4 and Switch, a high-definition remake of Star Ocean: First Departure which released on PSP in 2007 in Japan. This remake will includes additional new features and more content. A release date and price were not revealed, but the title will be released worldwide.

DayZ heading to PlayStation 4 on May 29

Developer Bohemia Interactive has announced that the survival open world game DayZ is heading to PlayStation 4 on May 29.

About the game:

The post-soviet country of Chernarus is struck by an unknown virus, turning the majority population into frenzied infected. Fighting over resources has bred a hostile mentality among survivors, driving what’s left of humanity to collapse. You are one of the few immune to the virus—how far will you go to survive?

DayZ is currently available on Xbox One and PC, and launches on PlayStation 4 on May 29.
